Honest pipe advice for one of Henderson's newest communities.
Cadence, rising on Henderson's east side since the mid-2010s, was built in the PEX era — so let's say the honest thing first: most Cadence homes do not need a repipe, and if you call us from one, that's very likely what we'll tell you. Whole-home replacement is a solution for failing pipe generations, and yours isn't one of them.
Where we do help Cadence homeowners: diagnosing and correcting isolated supply-line problems — a damaged line from a renovation screw or nail strike, a failed fitting, poorly supported runs that hammer or squeal — and running new supply lines for additions, outdoor kitchens, laundry relocations, and garage sinks or misting systems. Because supply lines are all we do, small jobs get the same planning, pressure testing, and clean drywall patching as a full repipe.
One more Cadence-specific note: the neighborhood borders the original townsite, and some older properties just west of it are a different story entirely — see our Water Street District page if your home predates the master plan.
Cadence homes went up with PEX supply lines, so the failure modes behind most of our repipes, chlorine-embrittled poly-B and pitted copper, don't apply. If a Cadence homeowner calls worried about a whole-system failure, the most valuable thing we can usually offer is a clear explanation of why the rest of the system is fine.
A bang when the washing machine valve shuts or a squeal when a shower runs often traces back to supply lines that weren't strapped well during construction. Re-securing the runs, and adding water hammer arrestors where they help, quiets the house without replacing any pipe. It's a small job that makes a daily difference.
Henderson summers make patio misting systems popular, and many Cadence owners want a utility sink in the garage or a laundry moved upstairs. Each needs a properly sized supply line tied into the existing PEX with its own shutoff. We plan the route, pressure-test, and patch what we open.
When a single fitting fails in a newer home, the goal is to reach it through the smallest sensible opening and leave everything else alone. Because supply lines are all we do, as our about page explains, locating the problem quickly is routine rather than guesswork.
Cadence borders Henderson's original townsite, where some homes still run on 1940s and '50s galvanized steel. If you own or are buying one of those, the Water Street District page explains what to look for, and you can book a free assessment for either property.
